Great News!! We've just heard the the traditional#CatmasEve pawty will be held again this year! So we here at #NipClub have decided to split the holidays. WE will handle FESTIVUS and let the terrific #CatmasEve be the place for Christmas Cheer! Please watch for info on the great #CatmasEve Pawty.

It's That time of year again. Christmas is approaching, nerves are getting frazzled, and people need a short break....in other words, it's time for FESTIVUS!!

Airing Grievances will have a GRIEVANCE WITH YOU if you don't come
to pawty with us at #NipClub's Festivus Pawty. And you DON'T want that.

Throughout the evening we'll do all the Festivus activities.....around the Festivus Pole, we'll have the airing of grievances (in good fun only please..teasing OK..attacks are NOT). AND of course the Feats of Strength, where the "head of house" gets wrestled to the ground and pinned. In this case, whichever Manager is on duty..., @TheNascarKitty, TinyPearlCat,  or @RealFakeGator..., step right up and wrestle them to the ground!!

What does one wear to a Festivus Pawty?...whatever they want, but it's often just whatever you would wear to a Holiday Pawty that you really aren't excited about...like that awful sweater you got from grandma, or some outlandish outfit, or street clothes...OR a #NipClub t-shirt!! Either way @RealFakeGator, @LampWireSlayer  and  #NipClub Outfitters probably have what you need. Just ask. Many of you already got "terrible sweaters" for last years pawty, so you're already set.

Thanksgiving is over, and Christmas Shopping season is upon us. And we're all tired of the "traditional" malls, big box stores, Amazon, Ebay, etc. So this week #NipClub reserved a special night at the world famous CHRISTKINDLMARKET in beautiful downtown Chicago.

The Christkindlmarket Chicago brings a cherished German and European tradition with international flair and local charm to Chicago. Chicago's largest open-air Christmas festival is an enchanting and inviting holiday village nestled in the center of the city’s downtown. Inspired by the 16th century Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany, one of the first holiday markets of its kind, the Christkindlmarket is well-known for its vendors’ high quality gifts and food, holiday cheer, and for being the ideal place for families to create their own holiday traditions.

The Christkind, a fairy-like being dressed in gold and white robes with a crown upon her golden locks, is the namesake of the Christkindlmarket Chicago. Christkind folklore dates back to the 1500s and stems from traditional customs: parades during the holiday season were guided by one “grand” angel, the Christkind. Since then, and still today, she is the bearer of gifts to most children in German speaking countries, much like Santa Claus is in the United States. Traditionally, gifts are exchanged December 24th and delivered by the Christkind, who leaves gifts under the Christmas tree and disappears before the children can catch a glimpse of her.

The booths and shops are outside in tents and lean-toos, to dress warm. It's in the exclusive downtown Magnificent Mile so it's not uncommon for shoppers to wear their holiday best outdoor gear while they shop. If you need help getting a special outfit, contact #NipClub Outfitters @RealFakeGator, or @TinyPearlCat to get you that special outfit.

There will be plenty of booths of unique Christmas Gifts for you to buy and share, there is a burning yule log surrounded by benches to warm up and sip some "Christmas Spirit", our barktenders will have a booth with terrific traditional german market foods, and of course great drinks to warm you up. And our DJ's will be spinning great music for you to enjoy or even dance a little in the clearing by the yule log pit.

We've got a busy December planned at #NipClub. We'll be hosting our annual FESTIVUS Pawty, We're promoting @GeorgeTheDuck with @CatmasEve#. We'll  be remembering 2022 before our gala New Years Eve Pawty special event and of course there will be Christmas Fun. So make sure to check this blog often. BUT for this week, let's stay warm in the cold.......

And remember, Dec. 7th is Pearl Harbor Day, let's take a moment to remember all the brave souls who fought in World  War II so that we would have the freedom to pawty every week. 

It's no doubt. Winter is here. And probably here to stay. Well, if you can't beat it, then I guess you join it. So here at #NipClub we set our construction crews to work and built an Ice Bar inside a huge igloo. It may not look like a lot from the outside, but on the inside, it's a crystal palace. Glistening crystal ice cut and carved like diamonds, beautiful lighting and most important....it's warm inside!! The building will only last a few days and will be a puddle, but while we're there we'll keep it comfortable and of course our talented barktenders know a few tricks to warm you up. So put on your best winter gear, or perhaps come as a favorite winter character like a snowman, or a favorite winter movie character, or just your own warm natural fur, feathers, or fins which are always welcome at #NipClub If you need help dressing, contact @RealFakeGator  and the staff at #NipClub Outfitters. Come CHILL with us!!
