A word from @TheNascarKitty #NipClub Founding Member and Manager:

Way back in 2009 I accidentally stumbled across anipal pawtying on Twitter. This fabulous pawty called #PawPawty. The first pal I met was @SeattleP (Jeego) a sweet cat who was the "sponsor" rehabilitating this hard pawtying ravishing cat named @DCKitty (Dominique). They showed me how to pawty, and we had a great time (as you know @DCKitty have been together for well over a decade now).

One thing that was very impressive was that there was a security ("sekurity") team that helped welcome new partiers, show them the ropes while keeping an eye out for malicious party crashers, the infamous "norty ladies" and anipals not bring neighborly.

I'd like to say that I never clashed with them, but at my second party I met a crazy, funny cat named Cheeto (@RosieAndCheeto) and he convinced me to "streak" through the pawty, and yep, we were caught by Sekurity and sentenced to scrub the bathrooms for 30 minutes.

Snick's #PawPawty Sekurity crew was big and proud. The Team, under the supervision of @BrutusTheDane continued to keep pawties safe when #NipclubMonthly took over where #PawPawty left off. When the monthly pawties ended and #Nipclub returned to a weekly only pawty we just didn't have Sekurity. But now they are back! They are spectacular, and work hard every week to keep us happy and safe. This week we would like to introduce them and honor them (and some of our retired sekurity officers who built the force.

So come pawty hard and show your thanks to those who protect us.

A Bit of History

Snick the Dog started as Head Bouncer with #pawpawty on twitter in June, 2009.

Snick moved to Sekurity Team Headquarters in 2010.

Snick retired in 2011.

@Brutusthedane became the new leader of the Sekurity team.

Since then the team has passed to @terenceterrier, and now to @Ben_da_Bestie.

Why do we have sekurity?

To tweet the donation link every now and then

To explain to newcomers what the pawty is and help answer questions

To report hashtag spam

#NipClub Does Mardi Gras as only NipClub can Feb. 24, 2022

Before we get this week's pawty, I'd like to inform you all about some opportunities to pawty outside the #NipClub hours. There are other pawties out there, and we encourage you to check them out, make some new friends and maybe bring them back to #NipClub with you. There is a 12 straight day string of twitter anipal pawties which make up an annual event called " #CatCarnivale ", and while #NipClub is not part of it, we encourage you all to go have some fun, AND spread the word about the premeire twitter Anipal pawty #NipClub. Some of the events have already happened, some are still to come. I know that there is a "field trip" planned to attend our NipClub pawty this week so if you see new anipals please make them feel welcome.

#NipClub's Annual Mardi Gras Extravaganza Pawty

Mr Breeze @Kittehboi, Shaman of Shenanigans, King of #NipClub's Krewe, High Priest of Hijinks

Over the years, we've always done a big Mardi Gras Pawty, and we've realized that nobody loves Mardi Gras more than Mr. Breeze (@Kittehboi). So this year we're turning Mardi Gras over to him. He's literally been down in New Orlean's since last week when I told him we were doing Mardi Gras this week. He's probably worked his way through all the "available" beautiful women (and a lot of them who aren't really available I'm sure, he's a charmer). He's been stockpiling beads and booze because he wants #NipClub's Mardi Gras Pawty to be the biggest and the best. SO, get your butts down to New Orleans this Thursday and collect some beads, enjoy some cajun food, dance to some Zydeco, over-indulge in some adult beverages, and show the rest of the world how #NipClub does it. Need a special costume? Some beads? A traditional Cajun outfit? A Voodoo priest? A "Carnivale style" outfit? #NipClub Outfitters can help. Just ask @RealFakeGator, Or just show up as yourself and collect beads as the night goes on. BUT be aware.....@Kittehboi and his Krewe just don't give away beads....you have to work for them a little.

@TinyPearlCat is ALWAYS the Queen of our #NipClub Krewe. And she doesn't do anything small. Go Big or Go Home

@TiggyBean hasn't missed a pawty yet, he sure isn't going to miss this one!!
