This week we're giving the Lady Cats the control at #NipClub (as if they didnt already have it MOL) with an old tradition most of us old fogies remember from High School back in the dark ages. A Sadie Hawkins Night!!   So guys, hold onto your hats, the ladies make ALL the decisions tonight. 

@TheNascaerKitty may be the boss of #NipClub but @DCKitty is the boss of @TheNascarKitty and he wouldn't have it any other way.

From the very beginning @TinyPearlCat was the power  behind  #NipClub, and nothing has changed since. But tonight, she (and all the other ladies) get WHATEVER they want!!

Sadie Hawkins events originated in the Lil Abner Comic series in the 1930s. Back then it was the one time a year that the ladies got to ask out the men and make all the decisions  (publicly anyway, at no time did men ever have actual power MOL).  Most of us grew up in high schools that had Sadie Hawkins Dances every year where the girls asked the boys to the dance.

At our staff meeting this week @TweetingTruman  noticed that @WinstonTabby was in his fifth margarita (slow night) and mentioned that National Margarita Day was coming up.  Well, it didn't take Ling for @TinyPearlCat to fire up the corporate jet and we headed to our Mexican Cantina to "research and investigate". We expect the investigation to take until the weekend, so Thursday night you might as well come on down and join us for the pawty.

#Chilipawty is an annual Twitter Charity Pawty that began May 2010 as a way to celebrate @sisfurcats Chilipepper's 13th birthday and has evolved over the years into a big todo with DJ's to give us something to sing and dance to, Barktenders to keep the drinks flowing, and Prizemasters to give away lots of prizes (there HAS to be prizes!), and a Sekurity team to keep an eye out for bots and norty ladies.  Each year a deserving charity receives the donations made by partygoers during the pawty.

Quite often Love makes you dumb. As animals we get to watch our humans do the dumbest stuff in the name of love (or the search for it).

Well, we're ANIMALS! We have less scruples than humans, plus, (especially cats) we don't seem to care what anybody else thinks. So a lot of our attempts at "love" fail. But it doesn't stop us.

And now it's Valentines Day..... batten down the hatches, the animals are gonna be wild. Let's see who crashed and burned and have a laugh together.

The big weekend is coming, and #Nipclub is getting things started with a Superb Owl Pawty!

No football game is complete without the pre-game tailgate pawty and we wholeheartedly agree.  Did you know it's thought that the Green Bay Packers (home team of #Nipclub's @TheNascarKitty) coined the term "tailgating" in 1919!  Packer fans would park their pick up trucks around the field and sit on the truck bed for a picnic while watching the games.  

You can't party all day unless you start in the morning, 

so #Nipclub patrons start the tailgate party early
