Last week we celebrated our 8th Anniversary with our usual #NipClub flare and gusto. A HUGE thank you from the Senior Management team, to not only our terrific customers but to our terrific staff. Many of you new, some of you originals, but ALL OF THEM extremely important and appreciated. 

While we may not draw the numbers we used to, every single guest is important. As long as there is one customer in the club we will continue to entertain, and help needy animals. 

Every now and then I like to explain, for the benefit our newer customers and staff, just how #NipClub works. So, here, in a nutshell, is what we're about!

#NipClub is ALWAYS FREE. While our barktenders and DJs ask for tips (for charity as explained in the next paragraph), those tips are suggestions only. And ONLY if you can afford it. Nobody, and I mean nobody (not even management) knows who tips or how much. It's 100% confidential and secret through the donation system we use. We DO NOT get reports on who, when, how much, etc. We just get a cumulative total of how much has been earned.  If you are EVER pressured to pay to attend #NipClub please contact one of the 3 senior management staff shown above.  We appreciate your "tips", as do our charities, but we do not expect them. 

How are the charities chosen? Mostly through customer suggestions. Let myself, Gator, or Pearl know if you know of a worthy animal charity, and we'll investigate. If they meet the criteria, they'll be put on the list. 

What's the criteria for the charities to be accepted? First and foremost, shelters and rescues must be 100% KILL FREE. Animal Medical Research Charities must NOT experiment on animals (other than trying new treatments). The also must be willing to work with @TinyPearlCat to set up necessary financial needs to receive the money from our automated, private donation system. If possible, we like them to "tweet" at some pawties and have a presence in the club while we're collecting for them. And hopefully afterwards too. We love new friends. 

How is the money collected? How does it get to the charity? How much goes to the charity? 100 Percent goes directly to charity. #NipClub has NO ORGANIZATIONAL EXPENSES. We take NOTHING. To donate pals go to Http://nipclub.blogspot.com and look for the "donate" link. When they click it they are taken to a secure third party server who received the funds, transfers them to the charity with total anonymity. The total cumulative collection is shown on the widget on the blog. 

That's it in a nutshell my friends. #NipClub staff pledges to you to continue putting on edgy, fun themes, creating lasting friendships, and providing a few hours of relief to your hectic lives each week. 8 years is just a start. We aren't stopping anytime soon. 

This IS the busy season for most of us. @TheNascarKitty's human in employed  in Agronomy (agricultural fertilizer/seed/pesticide) in Wisconsin, and the season is short, so it's also long hours. Often 16 or moore hours a day, 7 days a week. @RealFakeGator and @TinyPearlCat also have increased activity during summer, so we will have a few more "Cheers" nights each month, and space out the themes. But it's only for a short time. We're also interested in theme ideas YOU'D like to see. Just let me know your ideas. And YES, there will be some more weekend 24 hour pawties in the near future.
