For many of us, the words "Farmer's Market" brings thoughts of lazy Saturday mornings spent with friends checking out the best locally grown produce, flowers, meats, cheeses, baked goods and specialty products the season has to offer.
Over the last 20 years, the number of local markets has grown from 1,700 to over 8,000 nationwide. so it's likely there is one near you.
@thenascarkitty and @realfakegater are within a short driving distance of the Dane County Farmers Market, America's largest producers-only farmers' market. Located in Madison, Wisconsin the market started in 1972 with 5 vendors. Today, the Saturday market typically has over 150 vendors!
Put on your walking shoes, grab a bag to tote home anything you aren't going to eat or drink while you shop the Market and lets go! Then, it's back to #nipclub for noms, drinks and music.
