Before we start, we are sad to be posting about two beloved anipal friends

With heavy hearts we are letting everyone know of the passing of Claire Lawson on January 5. Many of you may be more familiar with with her as Auntie Claire (@carrotfiles).
Auntie Claire and her @ClaLolasCafe moved through the twitterverse Anipal Community with grace and ease. The cafe filled anipals' hungry stomachs with wonderful food and beverage creations, while Claire filled their hearts and spirits with kindness, with happiness, always letting them know they were more than just followers, they were friends. Often enough, we are told "be kind". Auntie Claire lived those words.
With her passing so recent, we are still in shock and trying to process through our grief. She may have left us as she passed from this world to what lies beyond but she did leave us a gift when we are ready to celebrate her life and her lessons. She left us with the knowledge that we are loved, we matter. She left us not only with the message to be kind, but with the example of how to be kind. She gave us the gift of seeing what the Anipal community can be when we are kind and caring; and an example of how be the best we can be.

Our customers and patrons are a very important part of NipClub. but the true heart and soul of NipClub is our staff and we are sad to see Auntie Claire pass. Although she was fairly new at NipClub she had really earned her place. She volunteered when we needed her the most and we certainly appreciate all of it. You can tell by scrolling through Twitter that she was in the heart of many anipals.
@Kittehboi, aka Mr. Breeze aka Norty Panfur aka Ruthless Rum Swilling Pirate aka our great friend and protector here at #NipClub has gone OTRB. Which means paradise is probably in for some shenanigans soon.
@Kittehboi is an original foundingber of #NipClub. He was famous in the anipal community before NipClub ever existed, and at our very first trial pawty he really cemented his legacy by DJing for many, many hours straight. And I mean many. He was part of the PR Team, a Barktender, a DJ, part of the Graphics Team, a Party Planner (for NipClub and CatmasEve, and Chillipawty and a lot of other pawties). As well as a hard partying dude. He also always fiercely protected us and our customers from any threat.
Mr. Breeze is currently a member of #NipClub's management team and our Head DJ. Don't worry, he's not going anywhere. In fact in the next few weeks we're turning him loose with his own pawty!

For you in the south, you still have bad weather and Rain Day doesn't sound as much fun as Snow Day, but hey, you can still own it.
Stay in, avoid the rain OR go jump in puddles like you used to

I was very sorry to hear of Aunty Claire's passing. The last time I DMed her she expected to be home for Christmas.
Claire was welcoming and friendly, a genuinely nice person. I will miss her.
