Willkommen to #Nipclub Oktoberfest 2025!
Oktoberfest originated in Munich, Germany in 1810 as a royal wedding celebration for Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. The festivities, were so popular that they became an annual event, which has become the modern Oktoberfest festival.
Oktoberfest is no longer confined to Germany. Celebrations are now held in many countries around the world. At the heart of Oktoberfest is Gemütlichkeit, a German word describing a feeling or state of warmth, friendliness, well-being, and pleasantness, often associated with comfort, belonging, and good cheer.
@thenascarkitty and @DCKitty open the festivities with a hearty "Prost" to one and all. This German word, used as a toast before drinking, and in the spirit of celebration and friendship In English, it is similar to saying "cheers".
